Job interview

HIRING PROCESS

AVPs recruitment is based on the requirements of the business plan together with current operational demands. We use an efficient, non-discriminatory, and systematic method of recruiting and selecting the right people to fill our vacant positions.

SOURCING AND RECRUITMENT

You can also submit your CV to hr@avpcorp.com if there are no jobs listed that suit your skills and experience.

SELECTION

In order to be considered for employment at AVP, applicants must meet all of the minimum position requirements related to education and training, certification, and experience. Knowledge and abilities are assessed at different points in the selection process. Technical skills are also evaluated to ensure that the applicant can perform the required tasks.

The selection interview is used primarily to gain additional information about the candidate regarding their education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as assess their cultural fit. It provides an opportunity for the applicant to learn more about the company, his job, concerns, etc. In some cases, after carrying out initial interviews, shortlisted candidates may be advised of the details of the final interview and of any special requirements.

REFERENCE CHECK

We always conduct reference checks to verify information gathered through the selection process about candidates’ experience, work performance, academic performance, and professional characteristics (e.g., dependability and initiative). We take up references as we deem appropriate and reserve the right to check all qualifications.

APPOINTMENT

If found suitable, the HR Department prepares and issues the letter of appointment to the candidate. After the candidate accepts the offer, further proceedings are carried out to satisfy the statutory requirements.

JOINING

We conduct an induction program for all our new employees within their first week of employment. It is a combination of general information about the company as well as specifics regarding the employee’s job role. An HR representative will give the new employee a tour of the site, head office, and facilities, including introductions to key managers and colleagues as appropriate.
